On February 14, 2009, Josh Gerhart (Class of ‘09), a left forward and defense player on the Kapaa High School Varsity Soccer team, won the Hawaii High School Athletic Association (HHSAA) Division II Championship at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex Stadium. Besides playing soccer for the past 11 years, Josh also works as a sushi chef at the Dolphin Sushi Bar in Hanalei, in addition to balancing his school work. Way to go Josh!
